Q&S Successfully Completes Type Test of 12kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker in Certified Lab

Q&S Electric has successfully completed the type testing of its 12kV indoor vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) series in a CNAS-accredited laboratory. The tests, 

conducted according to IEC 62271-100 standards, included mechanical endurance, short-circuit breaking, insulation strength, and temperature rise tests.

The tested model demonstrated:

Breaking capacity: 25kA / 31.5kA

Mechanical endurance: 10,000 operations

Excellent vacuum arc-extinguishing performance

Smooth operation and contact stability

This achievement ensures Q&S VCBs are ready for utility-scale applications and international tenders, especially in the South Asia, Africa, and Middle East markets.
